About Dr.Hauschka

WALA Heilmittel GmbH has developed natural preparations since 1935. Initially seen as avant-garde, it gained recognition among anthroposophical doctors for Rudolf Hauschka’s alcohol-free production method. Founded in Ludwigsburg, it expanded to Vienna and London before being banned by the National Socialists. After multiple relocations, WALA settled in Bad Boll/Eckwälden in 1950, where it remains today.

Rudolf Hauschka long envisioned a skincare line to complement his medicines, but it became reality after meeting Elisabeth Sigmund. She collaborated with WALA experts to develop natural formulations, including stable cream bases without synthetic emulsifiers.
